Resiliency Training for First Responders
$325 Per Student
This training is open to all first responder groups, including, but not limited to, law enforcement, fire/EMS, EMTs, dispatchers, and corrections. Additionally, retired first responders, as well as civilian peer support and mental health clinicians who are working in first responder wellness, are encouraged to attend.

Course Description:
Upon completion of this course students will be able to:
Identify unique stressors that first responders are exposed to in the line of duty
Explain the differences between normal and abnormal responses to critical incidents
Understand mind-body interactions in response to first responder stressors
Recognize the critical role of wellness, self-care, and peer support in resilience within the framework of the five pillars of well-being
Recognize the signs and symptoms of suicidal ideation
Learn stress reduction techniques - breathing exercises, mindfulness, and meditation
Recognize methods to mitigate PTSD, dissociation, vicarious trauma, and burnout
